Rita Carolina Puente is a Venezuelan dancer, choreographer, and artistic director of the Morrigan Tribal dance studio, based in Guatemala. With 13 years of experience in bellydance and 5 years of yoga training (E-RYT 200), Rita also has studies in classical ballet and contemporary dance that complement her preparation. She has studied with the most representative pioneers and dancers of dance in recent years, and has given various workshops in Venezuela, Guatemala, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Colombia and Mexico. Currently, in Guatemala, she teaches and works on various dance and yoga projects such as the organization of the International Tribal GT Festival, retreats at Naiara Retreats and collaborates on international projects with dancers around the world.

2017: Certification in General Skills and Teacher Training in FCBD Style (ATS®) according to the professional standards of Carolena Nericcio-Bohlman, making Morrigan Tribal a FatChanceBellydance® Sister Studio (United States).
2018: Participation in the production "Fantams, 1001 nights" of Bellydance Evolution (Mexico).
2020: First place in the professional Tribal Fusion category of the World Contest (France).
2020: First place in the Tribal Mania Miami competition (United States).
2021: Killer Path by Valenteena Ianni, levels 1 and 2 (Italy).
2021: Creative Laboratory with Olga Meos, levels 1, 2, and 3 (Kazakhstan).
2021: E-RYT 200 teacher training at the Yoga and Ayurveda Center (United States).

Hiplicious, a 3-hour intensive designed to turn your hips into your most expressive, powerful tool. Build strength and stability through targeted conditioning, then apply grounded Egyptian technique—shimmies, figure eights, hip drops, twists, circles, and pelvic-driven undulations. The workshop ends with earthy, dynamic combinations that blend strength, technique, and expressive movement.

Taylor’ed (Double Hoop) Tech by Taylor Flows
Taylor’ed Tech is a doubles hoop workshop that brings precision, creativity, and flow together. In this class, Taylor will share her favorite technical tricks with two hoops, including snazzy symmetrical sequences, aesthetically pleasing hybrids, and ways to incorporate intentional body movement into your doubles practice. You’ll learn how to make your tricks not only clean and controlled but also visually captivating and fluid.
This workshop is suitable for all levels, whether you’re just beginning your doubles journey or looking to refine your technique and expand your trick arsenal.

Waterborne: Bellydance Fluidity Intensive by Rita Puente
Waterborne, a 3-hour intensive blending strength training with the fluidity of Fusion Bellydance.
Start with targeted conditioning for the core and upper body, designed specifically for dancers.
Dive into deep technique—soft isolations, fluid arm pathways, wave mechanics, and smooth transition work.
Explore creativity through “constellation” exercises that help you develop your personal movement style, followed by original combos integrating everything learned.
Adaptable for all levels, this intensive will make your dance more fluid, controlled, and expressive.

Introduction to Fans by Kataya
Introduction to Fans is a beginner-friendly workshop welcomes all levels—from first-time spinners to advanced flow artists. We’ll begin with a free-flow warmup to feel out everyone’s skill level and build organically from there. You’ll learn the essential fan relations, primary shapes, how the grid works, and how to move fluidly between shapes. We’ll put it all together with a take-home combo, then finish with a short flow jam where Kataya offers one-on-one feedback to help refine your new skills.
